Thank you for your interest in EDGE FRS. Depending on your training needs, you can use EDGE FRS in several different ways. Below, you will find the most common ways to use EDGE FRS along with details that will help you get started.

Sign in to an existing EDGE training session

This option is for users who already have an EDGE FRS account and need to download the EDGE client software for use during a scheduled training session. You can log into the EDGE FRS v1.2 portal here, after which you may download the software or review the online version of the EDGE FRS v1.2 documentation.  The EDGE FRS v1.2 portal also allows users to reset lost or forgotten passwords.

 

Request a new Internet-based EDGE training session

With this option, your organization installs the EDGE FRS client application on your computers. You then connect to a training session hosted here on cesiedgetraining.com. This is the fastest and easiest way for most organizations to train using EDGE FRS. To request a hosted EDGE FRS training session, please submit your request using this form. We will contact you at the provided email address to confirm the details and help you prepare for your training session.

 

Conduct EDGE training session in your facility on a local area network

This option is for users who want to run EDGE FRS training scenarios on their servers. This is useful for users who need guaranteed event scheduling, organizations maintaining a stand-alone classroom environment, and DHS-authorized training organizations who serve the first responder community. This option is complex and requires IT support to correctly install and configure. EDGE distributions require a signed EDGE Distribution Agreement (DA). To request a DA, please use this form and select the Local installer type. Once a DA is on file, we will send you the EDGE installation media and instructions on how to install EDGE on your local servers.

 

Conduct EDGE training session on the Internet using your servers

This option is for users who want to run EDGE FRS training scenarios on their servers. This is useful for users who need guaranteed event scheduling for training sessions that span multiple sites or organizations. This option is extremely complex and requires IT support to correctly install and configure. EDGE distributions require a signed EDGE Distribution Agreement (DA). The Web Installer also requires additional server security verification and approvals by DHS. To request a DA, please use this form and select the Web installer type. Once a DA is on file and additional authorizations and approvals are obtained from DHS, we will send you the EDGE installation media and instructions on how to install EDGE on your local servers.
